Lawmakers want to know more about GSA's misleading statements regarding Login.gov's security compliance and how it impacted its receiving TMF funds and FedRAMP authorization.

Agency leaders received scrutiny from both sides of the aisle during a House Oversight committee meeting on Wednesday titled "Login.gov Doesn’t Meet the Standard".

Hackers reportedly sought to collect credentials from scientists at research facilities that carry out work on the U.S. nuclear stockpile.

Details of the new subcommittee structure have yet to be finalized, and a vote on the change is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
